It's been a long time since I blogged! Helloooooooooo there! -waves-
In case you didn't know...I'm working already! At Kumon marking worksheets. First day wasn't very great...seeing how I got tired after A-Day-in-Chinatown-and-Vivo before rushing down to AMK, how it was my first day at Kumon so I didn't know anything, how many piles of shit I had to mark until my eyes blurred, how I didn't know anyone there so up to a certain point of time it was boring like hell and how I left at 10 (because the boss wanted to talk to me seeing how I kinda screwed up) even though the person told me I could go at 9 damn. Second day was slightly better, though when I reached (reached early somemore leh that's very rare for me) this senior asked me to do this entire stack of Count The Dots worksheets and to time myself cos according to him this is to train myself to be fast and accurate for elementary stuff. After finishing them he asked me to mark them like what on earth!!! Frankly I dun see the point in doing the worksheets then mark them cos honestly how can anyone get any mistake in something as simple as counting the dots? But still I did it lah...do this kind of thing also can get money so never mind.
Today was the third day! I was late hahaha. But it's ok, usually in the first 2 hours or so I will be sian like anything since there are not many students which means I have nothing to mark. Today was the most enjoyable work day ever cos I didn't have much to mark today plus I get to look after the little kids!!! Looking after them isn't in my jobscope but my boss asked me to do it seeing how slack I was (I'm forever sitting near her so can't do anything funny sigh) I think she can't justify giving me wages for slacking that's why. But it's ok cos the little kids are DAMN CUTE!!!! They are all so small and cuddly!! Plus they always say those childlike things adults can never understand but seriously I like talking to them cos listening to them talk makes me very happy. It's like getting in touch with innocence and simplicity which we hardly ever see as we grow up. And the little boys' voices are so high-pitched and cute! Never fails to amuse me hearing the little boys talk. And this little girl wore a tiara today! I think her name is Elizabeth.
So the little kids are an incentive. And my next work day is on 4 Jan woohoo!
Am going to M'sia (Truly Asia~~~~~) on Sat and back on Tues. Hai I'm not very enthusiastic about going to M'sia though because I so so so so so want to go Taiwan really very badly and my dad actually thought the best Post-As treat for me will be M'sia + 1 day in Genting sigh. Hopefully the young ones get to stay in a room together and we can try creating some havoc without the older ones watching us ;) And I will insist on shopping cos it's the year-end sales in M'sia!!! Maybe I can get cheaper VCDs there :)
