The court should just rule that Cheryl Koh and Wan Kok Sin are all wasting our time, make them compensate us for spending so much of our youth on their petty case and for making us miserable and for causing us to have a serious lack of sleep and then ban such people from suing each other EVER AGAIN.

I haven't been updating cos I don't want to until I changed my blogskin but somehow I just can't change it cos when I download the html codes from blogskin.com it will show me the entire pictorial layout and not the codes on my mac. And my desktop is not working despite being sent for checks twice already so it pisses me off greatly.

Anyway! I watched Sweeney Todd today! Woots. The movie was gory and gothic and it really had the cathartic effect, so now I can finally understand and experience catharsis Aug Wong was talking about during Gothic Lit. There was honestly this release of emotions feeling. Though at some parts the singing bored me cos they sang the same songs over again and the blood was too fake for my liking. Very impressed by the fako Italian man's Italian accent and Joanna's and the lil boy's singing. And Tim Burton's dark portrayal of the lil boy was disturbing to me, like how he drinks Gin at such a young age, how he begins to look like Todd and Lovelett at the end of the movie, and how he killed Todd in one clean swift action, having no expression whatsoever. No child-like innocence, but then that's what Burton does in his movies, doing away with all the fluffy innocence stuff. Though I was quite puzzled as to why Todd died when the lil boy slit his throat very lightly as compared to how Todd did to his victims. And why Todd didn't topple over his wife's body cos he died liao so his body should be limp right.

But overall it's a good movie. :)

Before we went for the movies Kang, Pang and I went to the school for spastic children. Basically we signed up for this CIP-like thingy where we will bring the kids with cerebral palsy to Botanics to play and the organisers had this introduction session today at the school. The turnout for today was less than 1/6 of the people who signed up -.- We got to see some of the kids, and some of them were really damn cute! There is this lil boy who reminds me of Yoda and he gives the feeling that he is some wise old sage. Has very chubby cheeks too. But he's wheelchair-bound cos I think his legs can't support his weight...his legs are very very thin. And there is this very cute girl who can't talk cos her mouth muscles are not functioning :( But she was very happy at the playground and was laughing and smiling.

As we walked around the school and looked at the kids, I felt sad. Looking at the helpless state they were in will really tug at your heartstrings. Those kids I saw, they were happy (you know how kids are usually very happy kind) and they are just kids you know, and yet they have to suffer so much more than us, pained me to see that. Sigh. So I'm quite glad that I'm going for the kidsplay thing during midsem break, at least I can do something to make them happy that sort of thing.

Speaking of midsem break. I DON'T WANT IT TO COME. After the break it will be the much-dreaded moots. My tutor isn't focusing on moots at all (but I think she should cos mooting is so important and bloody scary) right now, she's more focused on the damn memorial. 3000 WORDS the memorial. And I haven't even started drafting it. Better go read Neumann later or something to get the main idea about persuasive arguments. Argh. I hate LAWR! LAWR is a bitch. So are Cheryl Koh Lee Peng and Wan Kok Sin the damn troublesome couple. Make my life miserable only.


This is random but I want to show you all my soulmate's new hair! Not really used to the colour cos I prefer his dark hair. Eh ok I just checked the lj just now and his "new" hairstyle in the pictures was different from this leh. Why like that! But equally shuai lah haha.
